In design and art, “Soma” has been used to talk about body shapes, volume, and organic movement.
SOMA is born from that same idea: a seating system that is built from the body and its natural relationship with space.
It doesn’t adhere to rigid geometries or limited uses. SOMA flows, adapts, and evolves, offering a flexible, welcoming, and contemporary seating experience.

Sustainability that is designed from the ground up
The module body features fully removable upholstery, facilitating cleaning and maintenance, and ensuring greater durability, especially in high-traffic areas and contract projects.
The internal structure is made from a single, fully recyclable material: rigid structural polyurethane. Its sandwich-type configuration—with a compact outer skin and a low-density core—offers an optimal balance between rigidity and lightness, guaranteeing high mechanical performance and durability.

Dorigo design
Fiorenzo was born in Treviso, Italy, in 1953 and began working in design and creative direction for the furniture industry in 1975, while studying art and design in Venice. He is a member of ADI (Industrial Design Association) and has been a freelance designer since 1987. His projects have won several international prizes and awards, including Good Design Awards, Red Dot Award, BigSee and Index Dubai Award.
